Expedition is excited to be working with two communities in Nova Scotia on master planning projects. This marks another milestone in our goal to deliver innovative community planning to communities across Canada.
In Yarmouth, we are developing a Culture, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan. Known as the “gateway to Nova Scotia,” Yarmouth is a community that proudly celebrates its rich heritage and culture. Yarmouth is home to a wide range of culture, park, and recreation amenities such as the Sweeney Fisheries Museum, Sports Hall of Fame, and Hebron Recreation Complex. The plan will identify culture, parks, and recreation opportunities and provide guidance to the Town for the next 10 years.
We are also contributing to the development of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. This region is known for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse parks and recreation opportunities. The master plan will set a clear direction for parks and recreation initiatives and it will also explore opportunities to enhance sport tourism and major event hosting.
Our team is excited to be collaborating with these two Eastern Canada communities and we look forward to delivering innovative solutions that leave a lasting impact.
