Festivals and Events Tourism Growth Program Development

Expedition was instrumental in developing the Alberta Government’s Festivals and Events Tourism Growth Program. Our team developed program objectives, links to provincial strategy, event selection criteria, performance measures, application packages, resource requirements, funding frameworks and evaluation criteria. The mentorship program was so successful that Alberta Culture and Tourism responded by investing annually in the program for several years. Since developing the program, Expedition has completed nine event growth plans for events across the Province of Alberta.
